If you have a new website or care at all about the appearance of your website, I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The team that works the SEO side of things is very knowledgeable, and overall very delightful to work with. But I had a problem with the website design. in the initial meetings with Agency Jet I expressed how important the website design is for me, I was led to believe that it would be a good partnership since they had a “good team”for website development. When the website went live it looked extremely incomplete, there was still placeholder text from the template they used in multiple pages, in some, text that had nothing to do with my business, in others, complete gibberish, amongst other very incomplete details. Of course this was all corrected and the final result was decent, and all the work that ultimately went into it is appreciated. The team acknowledged the errors and truthfully they have good soft skills and the conflict resolution intent was there, but going off of promises like in the initial meetings was not enough for me to stay, what’s the point of having a good team on SEO if the website portion of things is lacking, I would’ve ranked on Google but the website looked like spam, and although things were corrected, the website team and the SEO team do not work together to have a harmonious website that will generate more business and if they do, they definitely did not with me. After six months we were supposed to re-strategize, at the six month meeting there was no strategy, my project manager would come back with a strategy for next month, the strategy was not even in the works prior to the six month mark, I guess that’s how they work, or at least that’s how they worked with me, and although I don’t see that as a huge problem, the problem that I saw overall, was that they are not staying on top of my website or me as a client, whatever the “mixup“ with the website was, doesn’t matter at all because there was a lack of focus on the website I know mistakes happen, but I was the one who caught all these errors, on a live website that they delivered, which means that no one in this organization, not even the people doing the website bothered to look at the website and noticed that I was being delivered a half baked website, something tells me, if we were a higher paying client, this wouldn’t have ever happened. I thought that it would be a good partnership but in the end I did not feel comfortable having the website in the hands of an agency that never even laid eyes on it once delivered, what really leaves a bad taste in my mouth is that I was led to believe that I would be the right client for Agency Jet, but I wasn’t, and I found out the hard way, I was let down and to be honest I am completely and utterly disappointed, I’m sure that they’ve done good work for other clients but definitely not for me and truthfully I regret ever signing on with them in the first place, I wasted a lot of time, effort and money and it set back some future plans and efforts that we had. of course not the end of the world and they did provide a lot of SEO knowledge and information, but let’s be honest you can find a lot of resources online, you don’t need to go to an agency for that. So if you have a new website and want to build it out and if you care at all about the appearance, design or function of your website or considering the lower tier of their packages, I don’t think it would be a good fit. It’s SEO, done one way, done another, either with Agency Jet or another company, if they know what they’re doing you’ll get the results you want, I really wouldn’t recommend these guys to any small business, especially not to anyone with a new website.
