The owner has a very warm personality. Her office is also a very warm and upscale looking environment. Her proposal includes letting you know that you can sit back and she will take the wheel. This makes her very high prices seem justifiable. Unfortunately, it became increasingly clear that she is new to what she does or not very good at it. The communication was horrendous. My site was supposed to go live on a certain date and didn't go live for another month and a half. Then to top it off, it wasn't even live. She kept telling me it was an error on my end. It turned out she didn't understand what I was saying. Once I explained it for the third time, she realized it was something she needed to do. Yikes. Not great when you're in charge of somebody's website. She seemed to be trying to grow her business and delegate tasks. I would have a meeting scheduled with her and some other person would call me. Or I would email her and some other person would reply. I believe there were a total of four people I never knew were going to be involved in the design of my website that would pop up when I was supposed to have an appointment with her. As a result, these people would get the brunt of my frustration. I would have to explain to them what I had already explained to her. They would have to explain to me why all of a sudden they were taking over and it made communication even more difficult. All in all, it felt like she was a very inexperienced web designer who was trying to grow her business and as the customer I suffered the consequences of her working the kinks out. The actual website turned out pretty nice however it's never been usable for me. There was always back end things that needed to be accomplished that never got done. When I moved to a different state, they made it so confusing on how I could get everything changed over to the new location. I directed my questions to the owner and midway through trying to solve the problem, once again, she passed me off me to another person. They would tell me they could help me, then they said they couldn't, then they would send me self help YouTube videos. Then they told me that it wasn't their skill set. I got so many different answers!! I'm still getting inquiries from my old location and I've been gone two and a half months. The worst and most unprofessional thing was the owner wouldn't even schedule a phone conversation with me so I could understand if I needed to hire somebody completely different or if they were going to help me get the location data changed. It was VERY unprofessionally handled. I feel 2 stars is generous for how much I paid and for the services I received. A pretty website is useless if it doesn't function.
